Abstract: Biomass production, nutrient contents and nutrient uptake of vegetable soyabean were determined by destructive analysis at 3 weeks, 5 weeks and at maturity(10 weeks). Leaf nutrient contents at maturity were 3.22%N, 0.48%P, 1.49%K, 2.04% Ca and 0.82%Mg. Total nutrient uptake at maturity was 142 kg/ha N, 29kg/ha P, 91 kg/ha K, 45kg/ha Ca and 32kg/ha Mg. About 69% N, 45% P, 53%K, 24% Ca and 32% Mg were removed in the in the pods with a fresh yield of 8t/ha.
