Abstract:	Two indole alkaloids, coronaridine (1) and tabernemontanine (2) were isolated from the roots of Tabernaemontana cylindrocarpa King & Gamble (Apocynaceae). The structures were elucidated using spectroscopic techniques (UV, MS, 1H-NMR & 13C-NMR) and by comparison with the literature data.
