|Abstract: ||This project recorded 41 species of medicinal plants based on ethnobotanical information provided by two Orang Asli informants of the Jakun tribe and 18 species based on ethnobotanical information obtained from text references. The 59 species of medicinal plants are from 52 genera and 36 families. Rubiaceae has the largest number of species with five, followed by Euphorbiaceae, Leguminosae, Melastomataceae and Palmae, each family having four species. There are two families with three species each; three families with two species each and 26 families represented by a single species each.|
